Other Exhibits in May
We have three other exhibits in our galleries through May
Dreaming with Others Art Show
RSVP Volunteers Reflect on Rewards of Volunteering
May 3–26, in the YES! Gallery
For those who give their time, wisdom and compassion in volunteer service, dreaming with others plays a vital role in building a better, brighter reality, a stronger community. The art showcased in the exhibit reflects each of the artists’ volunteer experiences—why they volunteer and what dreaming with others means personally to them. The RSVP exhibit includes fine art photography, watercolors, stained glass, mosaic, textiles, and other mediums.

April Bonnette • “My photographs represent the transition from day to night within cities. By photographing at dusk I capture this moment through the rapidly changing lingering sunlight as well as each artificial light that turns on during this time. Through my body of work I am also describing each skyline through the unique architecture within each city.”
Vicki Gillis • The power and emotions invoked in retaining and recalling past experience and memories is undeniable. Gillis’ exhibition, Recollections, is an autobiographical pilgrimage to her hometown of Holyrood, Kansas. Each photograph is an homage to those who lived there. Vicki is a Senior at CSU majoring in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and Photo Image Making.
Chelsea Dunfee • Familiar Faces displays the individuality, uniqueness, along with the striking similarities, of related individuals. These images speak to the genetic and physical qualities of family members. Chelsea is CSU senior, working on a double major in Journalism and Technical Communication, and a BFA in Photo Image Making.
